A bicyclist had a nice little collision with our passenger side door today. Basically, it was dusk, we were creeping up to a red light trying to make a legal right turn, and this guy hits us like THWACK. He started yelling about how he had the walk signal and that CARS ARE SUPPOSED TO STOP ON RED.

Uh, duh. We were pulled just far enough out to see if there was traffic coming from the left. He could see us, you know, because we’re in a station wagon, but we couldn’t see *him* approaching from his direction. I asked him if he was okay but he kept on ranting and then pedaled away.

Common sense trumps traffic signals in my opinion. Never assume that people in car can see you.

I’m with you Jan, Before those communnist legalized all those reefers our children didn’t take that crap. I’d bet they never even heard of marijuana. In two years ( only been here three) they done turn our kids into bonefied drug addicts. Not my kids though, I kick their ass.That stuff will turn your brain into oatmeal. Or at least that’s what my daddy use to say. One pill of that crap and you’re whacking your pecker in the bushes. hooked for life. I seen it on tv. I’m with you Jan. I’m thinking those college educated types making all those decions up there in the city counsil wont stop at reefers, I think they really want to git our kids hooked and turn them all into homos. I’m with you jan. if they would stick to Bud and Jack they wouldn’t have no problems.
I got a nieghbor that said the liquor mart turned him into a alcoholic. Goes to some crazy church where they pray to a door knob. My daddy told him there ain’t no such thing as a alcoholic. just people who don’t like to go to work. I been drinking since I was a kid, never hurt me. matter a fact that was the last thing my 3rd wife said to me in that court room ( had to go to court because she gave me some lip) was “Your right joe your drinking never hurt you.” See. Smartest thing she ever said. But I’m with you jan. That reefers gits in your body and you can’t stop taking it. Or at least that’s what my daddy said. First thing in the morning gotta take one of those reefer pills. Makes you shake and everything if you don’t git some. Prone to violence. Can’t drive a car. Can’t even drive a tractor. Or at least that’s what my daddy use to say. Messes up your inners. It’s good to know i ain’t alone out here jan. came up from down south, 2nd wife can’t raise the kids, had to come up to help out. Throwed them all out, turned a 12 pack down the kitchen sink. Tuned her up and throwed her out. Good thing I wasn’t taking those reefers, probally woulda killed her.
I’m with you jan, but i do got two questions. What is mmj business and what are those kids growing?
